Coral Springs
Coral Springs, Florida is located in Broward County, approximately 20 miles northwest of Ft. Lauderdale and 10 miles southwest of Boca Raton.
Coral Springs was founded in 1963 and is one of the most successful planned communities ever built. The City is known for its quality schools and parks and recreation facilities. In 1993 a Total Quality Management program was implemented. The City's mission is "To provide an innovative, sustainable, high-performing organization that strives to make decisions and measure progress based on economic, social, and environmental factors improving the quality of life for the residents, businesses, and visitors of the diverse community we serve", and the Vision is "To be the premier community in which to live, work and raise a family"
The City of Coral Springs is 24 square miles nestled in the north-west corner of Broward County. Coral Springs is known for its family atmosphere, thriving businesses, advanced recreational facilities, and top-rated schools. As one of the fastest growing cities, and now considered fully "built-out", it is hard to believe the very same land was merely a green bean farm and cattle field just over 60 years ago.
These are just some of the reasons why Coral Springs continues "to be the premier community in which to live, work and raise a family." See what we have to offer! For information regarding economic development programs and assistance in the City of Coral Springs, please click here.
