About the Initiative:  Join the Broward County Public Schools Debate Initiative for their annual "Speaking for the Future"  luncheon. The #DebateBroward Initaitive is a partnership between local businesses and school-based debate programs within Broward County. Now in its eighth year of implementation, the Initiative includes over 150 schools and 15,000 students. Every public middle and high school in addition to seventy elementary schools and three alternative schools now have debate programs. The initiative is grounded in research that shows the demonstrable impact participation in debate has on student achievement. All proceeds from this event are used to support BCPS debate students in their competitive debate endeavors.

Registration and Sponsorship

Registration and sponsorship information can be found below. Other opportunities for support will be available the day of the event. Broward Education Foundation will attempt to match all contributions.

Individual Registration:     $100
An individual registration includes seating and lunch for one guest.

Champion Sponsorship:   $10,000
The Champion Sponsorship is reserved for a title sponsor. Benefits include prime logo placement on the front of the event program and on display at the event, naming rights for the “Champion of Debate” award to be given out at the event, and recognition in media correspondence leading up to and following the event. This sponsorship includes seating and lunch for ten guests.

Finalist Sponsorship:        $5,000
Finalist Sponsorships include logo placement in the event program and on display at the event, and recognition in media correspondence leading up to and following the event. This sponsorship includes seating and lunch for ten guests.

Qualifier Sponsorship:       $2,500
Qualifier Sponsorships include logo placement in the event program on display at the event. This sponsorship includes seating and lunch for five guests.

Varsity Sponsorship:         $1,000
Varsity Sponsorships include name recognition in the event program and on display at the event. This sponsorship includes seating and lunch for two guests.
