Bernardo Hees is the chief executive officer of Burger King Corporation.

Prior to his appointment at Burger King Corporation in October 2010, Hees served as managing partner at 3G Capital Management LLC. Previously, he spent 12 years at America Latina Logistica (ALL), Latin America’s largest railroad and logistics company, where he was appointed to the position of chief executive officer in 2005 and served on the company’s board of directors. Before becoming CEO, Hees held various positions at ALL in logistics, operational planning and finance. He began his career at ALL in 1998 as a logistics analyst, moving up into the roles of chief commercial officer, chief financial officer and commercial vice president, industrial products. Shortly after, he was named chief operating officer. From 2004–2009, Hees led ALL’s overall business growth at a rate of 20 percent per year.
