Our very special guest speaker is SUNNY BAK, internationally renown photographer,

 travelling to Broward from Los Angeles, CA for her premier South Florida art exhibit

                                  Rock, Paper, Photo at Studio 18 in the Pines

Sunny Bak shot the gatefold image of the Beastie Boys on the Licensed to Ill album, and the infamous

Lesbian cover for Newsweek in June 1993. Her portraiture includes Gregory Peck, Keanu Reeves, Gene Simmons, Madonna, Seth Green, Jason Priestly, Danzig, Slayer, The Village People, Carol Alt, 10,000 Maniacs and for Jay Z’s book Decoded among many others. Her images have appeared in Time Magazine, People, Details, British Elle, Cosmopolitan, Woman’s World, The Hampton’s Newspaper Magazine and more.
Bak’s work can be seen at Studio 18 in the Pines, Pembroke Pines opening Friday, September 5, 2014.
