On Friday, February 6 join the Business for the Arts of Broward at NSU's Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale as they present their first Arts Mean Business Breakfast of 2015. The complimentarty breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m., artist lecture at 8 a.m. followed by a free guided museum tour.

Colombian conceptual artist Federico Uribe is known for his fascinating transformation of everyday objects into art. Uribe creates sculptures which are not sculpted but constructed and woven in all kinds of ways, curious and unpredictable, intricate and compulsive. Individual works and whole-room installations are made entirely out of common everyday objects like thousands of shoes, colored pencils and shoe laces. He has received international recognition with exhibits in New York City, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Germany and South Florida.
