An update on Port Everglades’ 20-year master plan will be the topic of a public meeting set for October 8 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Broward County Main Library Auditorium at 100 S. Andrews Ave. in Fort Lauderdale.

Officials will present preliminary results of market and business forecasts for the Broward seaport and accept feedback. The port plans a major expansion, partly to host larger ships after the expansion of the Panama Canal in 2015.
