I'm pleased to inform you that Enterprise Florida, Inc. has expanded our commitment to the marine industry in Florida by adding on another exciting export opportunity to our international calendar of events, the Moscow International Boat Show. In addition to the Florida Pavilion at the Dubai Boat show, we have now also committed to mounting a Florida Pavilion at the Moscow International Boat Show to assist Florida companies who are positioned to take advantage of the growing market opportunities in Russia. This event was selected based upon feedback and requests from marine based companies here in Florida as well as for the positive market research received which confirms the viability of the market potential. Russians have taken to yachting in a big way by contributing to almost 30% of the luxury yachts produced worldwide, which means that 1 out of 3 megayachts are currently bought by a Russian!

Our goal in the International Trade Unit of EFI is to continue to support the marine industry statewide with their exporting activities. Statistics show the companies that export are more profitable, pay better wages and are better able to navigate the economic downturns in our domestic economy.

The Florida Pavilion at the Moscow Boat Show is just one more way that we can help to bridge the gap for Florida companies.
