Florida Logistics & Trade Conference

With a little over two weeks away, it’s time to register for the upcoming Florida Logistics & Trade Conference taking place on Thursday and Friday, May 15 & 16 at the Miami Airport Convention Center. This event is being organized by: The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce; The Florida Chamber of Commerce; and The Florida Department of Transportation; and Enterprise Florida.

The Florida Logistics & Trade Conference will bring together industry stakeholders and leaders from all modes of transportation, construction, academia, government and economic development to discuss the state of logistics as a sector in Florida. Speakers will include senior executives from: Atkins, Norfolk Southern; Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg; JP Morgan Chase; and the Brookings Institute. In addition, the conference will bring together Florida’s construction industry to discuss the interconnectedness of Florida’s transport infrastructure with those in the Americas. Speakers will include Florida Secretary of Transportation Ananth Prasad as well as senior executives from: The World Bank; US Commercial Service; ProMexico; Bilzin Sumberg; Becker & Poliakoff; and the Florida Transportation Builder’s Association. 

Who should attend: Those companies interested in using Florida’s infrastructure for trade purposes; freight and logistics companies; academic and economic development professionals involved in community planning; Florida construction companies interested in exploring opportunities of doing business in the Americas and with the World Bank (a seminar will address how a Florida company can do business with the agency); governmental and community leaders interested in learning more about the benefits and challenges of using P3 financing; etc.
