The Women’s Leadership Connection is hosting their inaugural luncheon meeting on August 23, noon, at the brand new Marriott Pompano Beach Oceanfront. 

Broward County’s top administrator Bertha Henry will be the first speaker for the group. A native of Miami who has worked in public administration for over 35 years, Ms. Henry will draw on her experience as a leader during her presentation.

“We are honored that the guest speaker at our first meeting will be Ms.  Henry,” said Rapkin.  “Ms. Henry has been County Administrator since 2008, is the chief executive officer of Broward County, overseeing the operations for almost 60 agencies with 5,200 employees and carries a wealth of knowledge.
