Florida Transportation Plan & The Strategic Intermodal System Policy Plan Regional Workshops

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is updating the Florida Transportation Plan (FTP) and the Strategic Intermodal System (SIS) Policy Plan. The process for updating the plans started with a visioning step. A statewide summit and five regional forums held in late 2014 and early 2015 provided opportunities for transportation and other partners to share their thoughts on the future transportation system for Florida.

The key themes for the state's transportation future were identified through the visioning step. We now need your ideas on policy for the plan updates that will draw upon the key themes.

Four interactive regional workshops will be held in June. The one for Southeast Florida will be on June 24 from 1:30 to 4:30 pm in the FDOT District Four Auditorium located at 3400 W. Commercial in Fort Lauderdale. Please plan to attend and present your priorities.
