South Florida is highly vulnerable to rising sea level as the result of the changing climate.  Architects and engineers can devise solutions for our buildings and infrastructure, but the problem is much more comprehensive and requires heavy lifting by policy makers and decision makers before the financial markets and insurance industry force our hand.
