Recently, we have seen resurgence in arts and culture and innovation and technology. There is a growing spirit and community of artists, musicians, tech startups and an increasing number of resources to support them, including art fairs, music festivals, academics, accelerators and financing sources.
But, is this enough? The creative community in Southeast Florida is still emerging relative to other centers. Cities such as Austin, Pittsburgh and Washington DC/Northern Virginia are making the transition from an "old" economy to an innovation economy.
