Virtual Hospitality & Retail Job Fair
Dozens of Employment Opportunities Available For South Florida Residents
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – – South Florida residents looking to get back into the workforce will have a chance to land their next job during CareerSource Broward’s Virtual Hospitality and Retail Job Fair. The event will take place on Tuesday, March 23, from 10 a.m. to noon and is designed to help connect job seekers with Broward County employers that have immediate hiring needs.
The job fair will feature dozens of open employment opportunities, including housekeepers, host/hostesses, maintenance technicians, customer service, bartenders, cooks and others. Companies scheduled to participate include Riverside Hotel, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale Marriot Harbor Beach Resort & Spa, Burlington Coat Factory, W Fort Lauderdale, Encompass Onsite and more.
“Broward County’s hospitality and retail sectors were especially hit hard as a result of the economic crisis brought on by the pandemic,” said Carol Hylton, President/CEO of CareerSource Broward. “Now that the economy has started to recover and businesses are reopening, we are proactively taking steps to ensure that our hotels, restaurants and retail shops have the ability to recruit the talent they need as quickly as possible.”

Participants have the ability to attend the virtual job fair from the comfort of their own home or by visiting their nearest CareerSource Broward career center, which will have designated computers for individuals who do not have access to a computer or internet.
During the event, attendees can visit employer “booths,” review job descriptions, apply for open positions and chat virtually with company representatives when available.
