Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center

Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center is 182 bed inpatient behavioral health hospital in Broward County. It is one of few Baker Act receiving facilities in the county that accepts both voluntary and involuntary adolescents (ages 5+) and adults. FLBHC also offers other levels of behavioral health care such as Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), and even Outpatient (OP) services in the FLBHC Outpatient Clinic located in a building directly behind the main hospital. Also, there is a 10-bed inpatient Mental Health Veterans Unit designed for Veterans that qualify under the COMPACT Act.
