Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance’s David Coddington to Lead Florida Economic Development Council as 2026- 2027 Chair
Coddington's appointment comes on the heels of additional statewide recognition for the Alliance. At the same Ignite Conference, the organization received the FEDC's Innovation in Marketing Award in the paid advertising category for its “Work Hard, Live Better” featuring two-time Stanley Cup Champion and Olympic Gold Medalist Matthew Tkachuk of the Florida Panthers. An Alliance CEO Council initiative produced in partnership with the Florida Panthers; the campaign was designed to attract prospective talent and companies to Greater Fort Lauderdale and has surpassed 3 million views since its April 2025 launch.
