Healthcare Partners, a health care consulting firm. Prior to that, she was a Principal for Wellspring Partners, the third-largest healthcare consulting company firm. She served on the Board of two health care consulting firms, Prism Healthcare Partners and Wellspring Partners.

Trevor Fried, Member At-Large – Senior Portfolio Management Director/Founder of The Las Olas Group at Morgan Stanley: 

Fried is a financial advisor, published author and senior portfolio management director/founder of The Las Olas Group at Morgan Stanley. He serves as a member of the Investment Committee of the Community Foundation of Broward. Fried is also a Community Foundation of Broward Community Builder, a group of local philanthropists who create endowed charitable funds of $1 million or more to shape a brighter future for Broward. He is an active member or Board member of several civic and benevolent organizations in Broward County. Since 2013, Fried has been a member of the Planned Giving Council of Broward. He recently served as the Board Chair at Gilda’s Club of South Florida and continues serving as an honorary Board member. In addition, Fried is a volunteer Guardian for Honor Flight South Florida. In 2019, he was appointed as a trustee of the South Florida National Parks Trust.

Four new members have been appointed to the Board of Directors, including: 

• Anita Byer – President of The Human Equation and Founder of Setnor Byer Insurance & Risk
• Monifa Hall – Litigation and intellectual property attorney at Patrick Doerr
• Cindy Mason – Florida Blue Market Leader, Broward County
• Andrew Wurtele – Philanthropist

Additionally, Holly Hudson Bodenweber, Ted Christie, Marianela “Nela” Collado, Aurelio Fernandez, Alice Lucia Jackson, Ken Kappner, Greg Medalie, Pam Pettis, Mona Pittenger (Immediate Past Chair), Brian Poulin and John Templeton returned as Board members.

Presently, the Foundation shepherds 590 charitable funds, and over 40 years, it has provided nearly $215 million in support of student achievement, the arts, career readiness, seniors in need, environmental resilience, health care, mental health, affordable housing, disaster relief, nonprofit empowerment and much more. All grants are made possible by the dedicated fundholders who partner with the Foundation to create charitable funds to fuel their philanthropy.
