IEDC Data Standards

The International Economic Development Council (IEDC) Site Selection Data Standards is information gathered by communities that provides over 1,000 data elements organized into 21 spreadsheets.  The IEDC Data Standards were launched by the International Economic Development Council in 2000. The datasets facilitate the decision of site selection and serve as a tool to promote economic development for communities that strive for relocating employers.  The datasets provide critical information to help location professionals and businesses determine the suitability of the community for their site needs.
