South Florida Business Journal will honor the region's best and brightest individuals under 40 years old for their professional success and community involvement with the 40 Under 40 Awards, sponsored by Nova Southeastern University.

Young professionals are among our community's most vital assets, and it is important to recognize and acknowledge those who are making great strides in shaping its future.  The emphasis is on leadership and potential leadership, whether it be in business, law, real estate, nonprofits, education, health care, public service or other industries. Focus is placed on the nominees' community involvement.  Think of your friends, family, colleagues, clients -- anyone who matches the criteria -- and nominate as many individuals as you'd like.

Winners and finalists will be recognized at an awards program on June 18 and profiled in a special section of the South Florida Business Journal.
