David Coddington Named Vice President - Business Development of Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward Alliance

Bob Swindell, president and CEO of The Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward Alliance, has announced that David Coddington has joined the Alliance as Vice President - Business Development. He replaces Swindell, who was recently named President and CEO.

Most recently, Coddington was Vice President and Miami Branch Manager, as well as Business Development Manager for ECO Advisors, LLC./REP Associates, a Florida-based environmental services firm specializing in assessment, cause, origin, prevention, and remediation of indoor and outdoor contaminants. In this role, Coddington spearheaded the development of the sustainability practices division and procured the contract for environmental consulting as part of the I-595 Corridor expansion project. Prior to working with ECO Advisors, Coddington was Business Development Manager and Field Operations Manager for Severn Trent Laboratory in Miramar. His other responsibilities have included senior project manager, geologist and environmental scientist with firms in Miami, Jupiter, Hollywood, Melbourne and Los Angeles, CA.

"David's experience in project management and working with the commercial real estate community, in addition to his expertise in the new area of sustainable LEED building development, makes him an outstanding choice to work on business attraction, expansion and retention for the Alliance," said Swindell.

Coddington holds B.A. degrees in Geography and International Studies from the University of South Florida. Coddington is a LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional certified by the U.S. Green Building Certification Institute) and a member of Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beaches.
