ST. PETERSBURG — David Denor has been named publisher of Florida Trend, a statewide business magazine published by the parent company of the Tampa Bay Times.
Denor, 47, replaces longtime publisher Andy Corty, who will continue as president of Trend Magazines.

"For more than 60 years, Florida Trendhas been regarded as the leading source of business news for Florida's influential business executives, government officials, entrepreneurs and civic leaders. I look forward to building upon the company's strong print and digital foundation.''
Denor joined Trend as associate publisher in 2016 and was promoted to deputy publisher last year. A Wisconsin native and graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, he started his publishing career at the Milwaukee Business Journal and then spent 15 years overseeing the business and sales operations for Crain's Chicago Business. Before joining Trend, he spent two years as vice president/business development for Hanson Dodge Creative, a Milwaukee advertising agency.

Denor and his wife, Jessica, a third-grade teacher, live in Seminole with sons Sam, 16, and Joseph, 17. Daughter Abbigail, 20, is a student at Florida Gulf Coast University and son Matthew, 23, is executive director of housekeeping at The Inn on Biltmore Estate in Asheville, N.C.
Florida Trend, delivered via print, mobile and enewsletters, is read by more than 250,000 business executives, civic leaders and government officials each month.
