Osher Lifelong Learning Institute Debuts in Fort Lauderdale

FAU's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute made its debut at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Fort Lauderdale with presentations on March 12, 2019 by Dr. Courtney Jones (Music is my Time Machine: A Celebration of Memorable Cinematic, Broadway and Popular Themes!) and by Professor Anthony Abbate and Dr. Colin Polsky (Making A Wetter Florida A Better Florida) on March 26.

The next presentation takes place April 23 from 2 pm to 3:30 pm and features Dr. Jeffrey Morton, professor of Political Science & Foreign Policy Association Fellow. Dr. Morton will provide an assessment of the current state of American foreign policy at the onset of the Trump Administration's third year in office. Key issues for consideration include North Korea, Russia China, the evolving U.S. policy towards the Middle East and America's relations with key allies.
