Sincerus Pharmaceuticals to Add 50 New Jobs and Triple Its Manufacturing Campus in Fort Lauderdale
Sincerus Pharmaceuticals, the leader in dermatologic innovation with an existing 20,000 square-foot operation in Pompano Beach employing more than 100 people, is tripling its contiguous campus in Fort Lauderdale to meet the massive demand for its gold-standard custom skin medicines. The company is making a multi-million dollar capital investment in a new state-of-the-art 40,000+ square-foot facility that will house a complete FDA Regulated 503B Outsourcing Facility for pharmaceutical manufacturing and research and development and will be adding 50 new jobs.
Sincerus, along with its affiliated service provider, Prescriber’s Choice, is recognized as the market maker driving the rapid growth of physician dispensed custom medicines. Recognizing that one size does not fit all in medicine, Sincerus has democratized the access to their custom medicines. Through Prescriber’s Choice, physicians can request specific alterations to mass-produced prescription medicines, which often include removal of inactive ingredients that are known irritants, adjusting dosing or changing the vehicle for drug delivery. The Sincerus formulations of custom medicines have become essential treatments for dermatologic patients across the country who have needs are that are not met by the limits of commercially available medicines.
“Sincerus Pharmaceuticals was created to support doctors who were seeking treatments for known skin conditions, but weren’t finding the solutions they needed or were faced by barriers including cost, high copays or prescription substitutions mandated by payers,” said Sincerus Founder and CEO, Dr. Spencer Malkin. “Our year-over-year growth continues to outpace the market reinforcing that our customized approach, physician-driven formulations and low cost is meeting a massive patient need.”
In the past five years, the number of “Choice Derms,” a term used by participating doctors to reflect the source of their tailored medicines, has grown exponentially. The medicines produced by Sincerus Pharmaceuticals are addressing some of the most common skin conditions in the U.S. including acne, melasma, rosacea, psoriasis, alopecia, dermatitis, and fungus, among others. The new employee roles will span across the business units ensuring patient and physician needs are met with these top-quality medicines.
