You have been asking, and finally it is here! We are excited to announce that BCEx – the Broward College business accelerator – is now accepting applications to join Cohort 5 this Spring!

This is YOUR chance to turn your idea into a startup or small business – whether you are a Broward College student, faculty, staff or not connected with the college at all and just want to build a company! 

This cohort will begin on February 10th, 2022 and run over 10-12 weeks. 

Applications are due on or before 11:59pm on January 21st and will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Don’t delay applying as this 20-person cohort is filling quickly! 

This program is valued at over $2,000, which we are offering FREE of charge. After 10-12 weeks of interactive learning, cohort participants will have the opportunity to pitch their new business decks to a panel of established judges during BCEx's our Internal Cohort Pitch Night and receive small funding towards your business after the completion of our Launch phase.  

Participating in our Accelerator will allow you to potentially earn a spot to pitch at the annual Armstrong Student Venture Fund, for awards and seed funding towards your start up or small business! (This is upon successful completion of BCEx's program through our Launch Phase.)

Our BCEx Accelerator involves an application, interview, and is limited to 20 participants. The Cohort will be filled with entrepreneurs who are developing their idea in various professions. Limited seats are reserved for those with no identified idea but want to learn, to apply as well.
