Comcast is committed to helping small businesses throughout the U.S. that have been hit hard by the economic impact of the pandemic. In 2020, we created Comcast RISE (Representation, Investment, Strength and Empowerment) to support thousands of small businesses navigating the challenges and difficulties of the pandemic. In 2021, we launched the Comcast RISE Investment Fund, which includes $10,000 grants for small businesses owned by people of color and women, and partnered with Ureeka to provide monetary grant recipients support with business coaching and to help build skills focused on company growth and financial stability.

We are excited to announce that this fall, the Comcast RISE Investment Fund will award another $5 million in grants to eligible small businesses owned by people of color and women in select cities including Chicago, Miami/ Broward County, Seattle, Oakland, and Washington, D.C.!

The window to apply for the Comcast RISE Investment Fund will be from October 3 – 16, 2022, and recipients will be announced at the end of November. To qualify, grant applicants must be in a business for three or more years, employ a staff of between one and 25 employees, and meet other Comcast RISE eligibility requirements. If a business is not located in one of the eligible geographic areas, Comcast RISE also offers the opportunity for small businesses owned by women or people of color throughout the Comcast footprint to apply for marketing and technology services from Comcast Business and Effectv, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable.
