Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale Announces the 23rd Annual Riverwalk Tribute Honorees
Fort Lauderdale, FL – Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale is pleased to announce the honorees for the 23rd Annual Riverwalk Tribute to be held on Thursday, May 4th, 2023 at the Riverside Hotel. This year’s event honors a group of individuals who have made a significant impact in the City of Fort Lauderdale and with Riverwalk: Nectaria Chakas and Robert Lochrie of Lochrie and Chakas; Keith Costello of Locality Bank; Renee Quinn of Spirited South Florida; and Bob Swindell of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance.
Nectaria Chakas and Robert Lochrie have helped numerous developers navigate the land development entitlement process to produce some of the most iconic buildings in South Florida. From affordable housing units to high-end condominium projects to commercial properties, these well-respected attorneys have made a significant impact on our skyline and assisted in writing meaningful code and land use guidelines.
Keith Costello is a highly respected figure in the world of commercial banking. His unique ability to assemble a diverse group of investors to create successful community banks has made him a leader in the industry. His latest venture – Locality Bank – harnesses the power of digital technology that allows their clients to meet ambitious goals.
Renee Quinn is a well-known figure in the hospitality industry where she serves up the latest trends in culinary, cocktails and craft beers and unique experiences to match. In addition, she has worked with a variety of nonprofit organizations helping to raise millions of dollars for their causes. Renee is also a featured columnist for a number of food and beverages related publications and a past board chair of Riverwalk.
Bob Swindell was named President and CEO of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance in 2009. He and his team assist local, national and international companies move their operations to Broward County. Thanks in parts to his efforts, South Florida has been designated a “megaregion of the future” and a driver of future U.S. economic growth.

The 23rd Annual Riverwalk Tribute will be held at the Riverside Hotel on Thursday, May 4th, 2023 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. There will be an exclusive VIP reception with the honorees from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. Honored guests, sponsors and special guests will enjoy an exquisite evening of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, live entertainment and an impressive silent auction. There will also be a special presentation officially recognizing the 23rd Annual Riverwalk Tribute honorees.
