BCPS Magnet Programs Earn National Awards from Magnet Schools of America
Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) is proud to be recognized by Magnet Schools of America for its outstanding magnet programs. This year, District schools earned eight Merit Schools of Excellence awards and 15 Merit Schools of Distinction awards. In addition, Driftwood Middle School was named a Top Magnet School of Excellence, the highest level of achievement.
Each year, Magnet Schools of America recognizes magnet schools and programs throughout the nation for their commitment to high academic standards, curriculum innovation, diversity efforts and parent/community involvement that enrich the magnet themes.
