FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (January 24, 2025) – Business for the Arts Broward (BFA), a nonprofit 501(c)(3), recently unveiled a commissioned mural by globally recognized artist Hector Prado titled “FLOW OF FORTUNE,” at Las Olas Pocket Park, 601-603 E. Las Olas Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale.
Prado’s mural brightens the downtown with colorful imagery of koi fish swimming among blooming lotus flowers. The image is meant to invoke a sense of peace, resilience and harmony with nature and invites reflection, reminding viewers of the quiet strength found in nature.

His work has garnered critical acclaim from the Cannes Film Festival, London International Awards, Clio Awards, New York Festivals, Emmy Awards and more. Prado’s artwork has been utilized by Volkswagen, Hewlett-Packard, Steven Spielberg and many more.
“Thanks to the incredible vision of Hector Prado and the generous support of our sponsors, this mural not only enhances the beauty of Las Olas but also contributes to the ongoing growth of our city’s cultural landscape,” said BFA Board Chair Jarett Levan.
