Gunster Office Managing Shareholders Elected Presidents of Local Federal Bar Association Chapters

Gunster is proud to announce that two of its Office Managing Shareholders have been elected to lead their local federal bar associations, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to service and leadership across Florida’s legal community. Effective October 1, Jonathan K. Osborne, Office Managing Shareholder in Fort Lauderdale, has become President of the Federal Bar Association Broward County Chapter, and Lauren Purdy, Office Managing Shareholder in Jacksonville, has become President of the Jacksonville Federal Court Bar Association.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to support the Broward federal practice community and to help advance professionalism, education, and access to justice,” said Osborne. “Public service is a cornerstone of our profession and a shared value at Gunster.”

“It’s an honor to serve our federal bench and bar alongside an exceptional group of lawyers and judges,” said Purdy. “This role reflects the collaborative spirit we strive to bring to our clients and our community.”

The dual appointments highlight Gunster’s longstanding belief that leadership extends beyond the firm’s walls—into the courts, bar associations, and civic organizations that strengthen the rule of law and the communities the firm serves.
