Broward Performing Arts Foundation Raises Funds for Broward Center’s Arts-in-Education and Community Engagement Programs During a ‘Frozen’ Family Celebration
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (January 2026) – There was magic in the air during the Broward Performing Arts Foundation’s recent Frozen-themed brunch, Winter
Wonderland – A “Frozen” Family Celebration, that raised funds for the Broward Center’s arts-in-education and community engagement programs.
The Mary N. Porter Riverview Ballroom at the Broward Center was transformed into a winter wonderland immersed in blue and white, glitter and glamour. Getting into the spirit of the day, many children and some parents came dressed as their favorite characters. Guests enjoyed an enchanting brunch fit for royalty, whimsical arts and crafts, a dance party with a DJ and magical face painting. A regal throne and themed backdrop provided a picture-perfect setting for family photos.
Just before guests were escorted to Amaturo Theater for the performance of Disney’s Frozen, the DJ led a sing-a-along of Let It Go, where the kids and adults belted out every word to the popular song.
In addition to Presenting Sponsor Alice and Mike Jackson, Beverage Sponsor was Kurt and Liz Langenskamp); Brunch Sponsor was Jeremy and Yeva Wilford; Dance Party Sponsor was Carol Kalagher; Décor Sponsor was The Judith Linnell Fund at the Community Foundation of Broward; and Photo Op Sponsor was Rick Case Automotive Group.
