AutoNation Shifts Gears from Cars to Bikes for Pediatric Cancer Patients from Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center’s alex’s place
FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA (February 10, 2026) – AutoNation, Inc. (NYSE: AN), one of the largest automotive retailers in the United States, is shifting gears from cars to bikes to benefit some of the pediatric cancer patients from Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center’s alex’s place.
Associates at the company’s Fort Lauderdale headquarters spent time building bikes that will be donated to children with cancer at the upcoming Dolphins Cancer Challenge DCC XVI event at Hard Rock Stadium, a signature initiative of the Miami Dolphins to support cancer research at Sylvester—the only cancer center in South Florida designated by the National Cancer Institute and ranked among the nation’s top 50 for cancer care by U.S. News and World Report. The initiative is part of DRV PNK, AutoNation’s company-wide commitment to driving out cancer in communities across the country.
“We are grateful for our AutoNation Associates who continue to bring joy and comfort to cancer patients in our communities by generously contributing their time,” said Lisa Rhodes Ryans, Vice President of Communications and Corporate Affairs. “AutoNation has been a steadfast supporter of Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and the DCC since 2012, and we look forward to participating again at DCC XVI and helping to raise critical funds for innovative cancer research.”
Through DRV PNK, AutoNation has supported thousands of cancer patients and raised millions of dollars for cancer-related causes. Learn more about DRV PNK, AutoNation’s largest community investment and the cornerstone of its philanthropic impact, at www.autonation.com/our-purpose/drive-pink.
