The Broward Center for the Performing Arts: Ghost Light Society Members Enjoy Cocktails, Conversation and Culture During “& Juliet” Pre-Show Reception
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (March 2026) – Ghost Light Society, the Broward Center for the Performing Arts’ young professionals group, recently hosted The Opening Act, a signature pre-show cocktail reception for members and guests in the Broward Center’s Einstein Room and out on the Peck Courtyard. Guests were then escorted to the Au-Rene Theater to enjoy the hit Broadway musical performance of & Juliet.
The Opening Act is one of many exclusive benefits that Ghost Light Society members enjoy throughout the year, including premium access to pre-sale tickets, priority seating for shows at the Broward Center and The Parker and more. Proceeds from Ghost Light Society events, memberships and donations benefit the Broward Center’s award-winning arts-in-education programs. To date, the Ghost Light Society has raised more than $1.5 million to support arts education and held a wide array of events to help further its mission of engaging and inspiring a new generation of patrons to take an active role in promoting, celebrating and supporting the performing arts.
