Interim Head Coach Paul Jennison on tonight's match & moving into next week...

    • "Very competitive game, we got to play against a quality opponent today. They had some very good moments. And as a team, we defended very well and had some great goalkeeping actions. So I think there's a lot of positives from that. We had some good moments going forward in transition, just unfortunately, again, it wasn't our opportunities in front of goal today. We're excited for next week because we have a very similar opponent who's going to be quality in possession. Playing against them previously this season, we had a very good result. So we know we have to, we're going to have to be very strong behind the ball and out of possession. We're going to continue to implement our game plan, and we're going to look forward to pushing the principles, but great fight from the team tonight. The thing that is a massive, massive bonus for  our club is that in every game, we've been competing. It's just individual moments of quality for the opposition. We just have to keep working on our end to to keep pushing that. Great fight tonight from the team, and as I said, disappointed that  we couldn't come away with something, but we'll look forward to a good week of practice and quality opposition in Carolina.

Goalkeeper Haley Craig on tonight's result & next match..

    • "I think there's positives we can take out of it. I think going into halftime 0-0 is good, but I think we need to prioritize getting in the attack more and building out of the back and just staying true to ourselves as a team. Really excited for next week as we go to Carolina in a bit of a road stint, also against the top team last week, against number one, now against two and and then obviously next week, Carolina is also in playoff contention. So I think just for us,  hitting the ground running at practice this week, focusing on the areas that we obviously let down today, locking in, not giving up set pieces — those type of things to bring it in next week and try to get three points."
