Gunster Expands Immigration, Real Estate, Immigration, and Business Litigation Practices with the Addition of Four Attorneys
Gunster, one of Florida's oldest full-service law firms, is thrilled to share that four new attorneys have joined the firm: Jordan H. Blumental, Laura Buck, William O'Leary, and Emma Shapiro. The addition of these individuals expands Gunster's Real Estate, Immigration, and Business Litigation practices across our West Palm Beach, Miami, and Jacksonville offices.
Jordan H. Blumenthal joins Gunster's Real Estate practice in West Palm Beach. Bringing over a decade of experience in federal government service, Jordan advises clients on land use and zoning matters, helping them navigate regulatory frameworks and achieve their development and real estate objectives.
Jordan earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. He also received his B.A. summa cum laude and his Masters of Applied American Politics and Policy from Florida State University.
Laura Buck is a member of the firm's Immigration practice in Miami. She helps U.S. companies navigate the complexities of immigration, focusing on employment-based immigrant petitions and petitions for nonimmigrant (temporary) workers. She has advised clients across various industries including education, government, healthcare and technology.
Laura earned both her J.D. cum laude and her A.B. magna cum laude from Tulane University.
William A. O'Leary is an attorney in the Jacksonville office's Business Litigation practice. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including disputes involving breach of contract, fraud, tortious interference, civil RICO, and a wide range of other business-related disputes. He joins us from a Vault 10 law firm, where he represented multiple Fortune 100 companies in high-stakes commercial and products liability matters involving nine-figure exposure.
William earned his J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and his B.A. magna cum laude from Catholic University.
Emma Shapiro is based in the Miami office in the firm's Immigration practice. She advises on a variety of family-based and employment-based immigration matters, including the preparation and filing of nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions, including Investor visas, Extraordinary Ability visas, and Consular Processing matters.
Emma earned her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and her B.S. cum laude from Florida State University.
