QUOTES:
- Interim Head Coach Paul Jennison on tonight's result & moving forward...
- "The game plan will be the same as it was on Monday. Obviously, we had a great result and then, unfortunately, tonight against quality opposition, they've capitalized on three or four areas from us that haven't gone well, and that's the reality of this level. We'll review the film. As I've said, this is a good learning curve for us and our group. I really think we're going to get a very positive response when we get to sit down and reflect a little bit on it, and we had some really good moments through the game. Always good to get a goal. We certainly created a few chances, and I think we've got to take the positives. But as I said, this will be a good learning curve, especially at this point of the season, I think it would be good for us to hit the practice field and continue with the work we've been doing. Obviously, just feel for the group tonight because coming off a massive result on Monday. I know they were really hoping to follow that up with something positive, but there was just quality opposition against us tonight, and its a tough learning curve."
- Midfielder Jules Cagle on making her pro debut tonight...
- "It was great — it's the dream of my life. It was only three minutes, but it was still great. It was one of the happiest moments I've ever had."
- Defender Sh'nia Gordon on her goal & tonight's result...
- "It feels good to get on the score sheet, but ultimately, the goal is to win games. We just have to get back at it this week and fight harder for next match."
