Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) invites parents, students, employees and community members to join Broward County School Board members, Superintendent Dr. Howard Hepburn and District staff in meaningful conversations about the future of schools across the District as the third phase of the Redefining Our Schools initiative gets underway.

The Redefining Our Schools process evaluates enrollment trends, academic programs and available resources to help ensure schools are aligned with the needs of their communities. On August 25, 2026, District staff presented a list of schools identified for discussion based on School Board Policy 8010 Attendance Zone Boundaries and School Usage. 

Community members are encouraged to attend the upcoming meetings to learn more about the schools identified for discussion, hear about potential options and provide feedback. All meetings begin at 6 p.m. and will be live streamed at becon.tv/redefining.
